Nate Taylor is a musician and owns a Bar and Grill that is in disrepair. In need of money to fix his place up before he loses his business, he goes to his brothers for help. When none of them are able to help him, he starts to worry. He has a rock band that is his passion, but without his bar, he won't be able to make a living.
Isabella Goldstone is a divorcee who moves to the little town of Sweet Water, Michigan to open a flower shop. She comes from money, and wants to start a new life for herself and her twenty-year-old widowed, pregnant daughter. While she's been a florist her entire life, he passion is really to be a singer. She's always wanted to own a bar and sing old-time torch music to the customers. So when she hears that one of the Taylor boys is in need of money, she sees an opportunity to get what she wants. But not everything is as it seems, and she ends up offering a man who is ten years younger than her a marriage of convenience as part of a business deal.
Can two people with ten years between them continue a farce of a marriage sticking to the terms of divorce in one year's time, or will they find passion between them that was never meant to be?

Nothing is every easy when it comes to the Tarnished Saints. Nate is no exception and has to do things a little different. With every story, Ms. Rose adds a new element to give the boys their own identity. Nate is all about music so it comes as no surprise that his choice of women likes to sing. The fact that he thinks she is a dragon lady adds some amusement to their interactions. Isabella has always wanted to sing and she loves the classics. The stuff that the "boy" at the bar plays is not music as far as she is concerned. I loved the age difference and the whole cougar thing gives the other tarnished ones endless ammunition creating some very laugh out loud moments. Learning to compromise is going to be tough for them as they both like to make the decisions. Ms. Rose has added some interesting twists to her plot and I think introduced us to the wife of the next Tarnished Saint. Lots of stuff is happening in this book and the Taylor clan is always right in the middle. A fast paced, well written great addition to this great series. I can't wait to read how the next saint falls.Product details

I have loved every book in this series.
Book Ten of the Tarnished Saints story is out - yea! The book may be a little shorter than her other "Saint's novels" but it sure packs in a lot of writing. The story starts with Nate's bar literally falling down around his head. Now he really needs money and thus starts a marriage of convenience. Oh, the "bride" has a pregnant 20yr. old daughter who is a widow and about to give birth at any time. Nate's new wife, Bella, is now half owner of the bar and has her own ideas and dreams of singing at her own establishment. A rock bar and a Golden Oldies singer. Wonder how that will work out?
Nate and his brother Andrew stay with Nate's stepdaughter, Christine, while Bella goes out. Christine wakes up with her water broken and ready to deliver the baby now!!! No time to get her to the hospital so Andrew, being a paramedic and fireman, delivers her baby. Now Nate is a 25yr old grandfather.
As you can see, the author, Elizabeth Rose, has put in a lot of excitement and surprises in her latest Tarnished Saints book, Playing Nate.
When the new lady in town opens a flower shop, Nate doesn’t really notice anything except she is older than him and has a pregnant daughter. He is having nothing but bad luck with the bar he bought. Old heater that needs to be replaced, leaky roof, a stove that needs to be replaced. He has tried to borrow the money from all of his brothers but no, they can’t or won’t help him. Isabella sees the chance to own and sing in a bar when she hears Nate needs money and lots of it. She has money, but doesn’t seem to be able to achieve her dream. Can they work out a deal?? Interesting and exciting story!
Book 10, Playing Nate follows the easy contemporary romance of the previous books in this series. We have a brother who must marry in order to claim his inheritance. The difference of this book is that Nate finds himself falling for an older woman in a marriage of convenience....his convenience.
Nate owns a bar and has a band of his own but the financial obligations are overwhelming! When he meets Isabella he hates her! She is condescending and patronizing to him and he can't stand her even if she is beautiful.
Isabella has had a bad marriage in the past filled with embarrassment and has no wishes to repeat that. She believes money can buy anything and is a very controlling woman with her daughter and Nate. Nate and Isabella have similar dreams with their music and the bar, but their animosity causes them problems.
With the Taylor family always around and babies everywhere, Isabella's walls are slowly crumbling. Nate starts to see Isabella as she changes but will it be enough for him to want to stay with her?
There are only two more books left in this series. Igniting Andrew is next with Taming Thad being the last brother story to be told.
I love this series. I found the family of sons to be not only what some might call hunks, but they also have minds which most romance novels do not have. I congratulate Ms.Rose on a great job. The story plots were believable and I think how she weaves them all into one huge family is brilliant. I would recommend this series to anyone looking to read an in-depth series. Great Job!!!!
